of Flowers is the greater Gulf Coast’s premier
garden event and continues to grow in size and
recognition, attracting over 18,000 visitors over
the five day event. The festival’s newest
feature will be the Greening of Mobile. Come investigate
the newest methods with which one can “go
green” in both the home and garden—an
enlightening first for Mobile, sure to make an
impact on our community in its future. Also new
this year will be a photography competition.
Each
spring, Festival of Flowers takes place on the
beautiful Providence Hospital campus, covering
over
eight acres under tent and sky. Recognized by
the American Bus Association (ABA) as one of the
Top 100 Events in North America and by the Southeast
Tourism Society (STS) as one of the Top 20 Events,
the Festival has received acclaim from not only
community and industry leaders but also tourism
officials. The floral extravaganza promotes an
interest in gardening and beautification and encourages
